IndieCommerce for Everyone
There is programming at Winter Institute 11 for current IndieCommerce stores as well as for those looking to learn more about ABA’s e-commerce solution for indie booksellers:
Introduction to IndieCommerce: The IndieCommerce team will introduce ABA's ecommerce platform, which features an open source CMS, free book meta data, improved search, shopping cart, and hosting, all for one monthly price. No programming or coding is required, and new sites can be up within a few weeks. This session is intended for stores not currently in the IndieCommerce program. It will be held on Tuesday, January 26, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., in the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel’s Governor’s Square 17 Room.
One-on-One Appointments: All time slots for one-on-one meetings with the IndieCommerce staff at Wi11 have been filled, but there may be cancellations. Wi11 attendees with questions about their IndieCommerce websites who would like some dedicated time with team specialists Geetha Nathan, Scott Nafz, or Ryan Quinn should complete the form available here and they will be notified if cancellations are received. Walk-ins are welcomed also.
The IndieCommerce team will be in the Sheraton’s Plaza Court 7 during these times:
- Sunday, January 24, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
- Monday and Tuesday, January 25 and 26, from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
