The deadline for the Summer Children's Picks list is Friday, March 24.
Booksellers who have not yet sent in nominations to the list are strongly encouraged to do so today. Nominations can be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, or they can be submitted via a convenient online nomination form.
"This is one of Book Sense's essential lists," said Dan Cullen, Book Sense Picks editor-in-chief. "The Summer Kids' list showcases a wide range of wonderful titles and offers great marketing opportunities for an important time of the year. I hope we can hear from as many booksellers as possible."
In addition, booksellers can also nominate titles this month for the Book Sense History Top Ten, which has a deadline of March 31.
Once again, ABA is collaborating with The History Channel (THC), and this list will feature titles related to the American Revolution. A new series focusing on the American Revolution will begin on THC during the first weekend in June and will continue weekly on Sunday nights for 13 episodes. Titles nominated for the History Top Ten can be fiction or nonfiction, frontlist or backlist, for adults or children.
